Biomedtech Australia Pty Ltd warrants that products that you buy from us are free from defects in material and workmanship. The warranty duration is one year from the date of invoice for consumables and electronic devices. The AltiPower rebreather and receiver assemblies have a lifetime warranty.

Our warranty policy is that we will provide a replacement, repair or refund provided goods are returned to us within a reasonable time and the return is because the goods are faulty, not the same as the goods we advertised, or because the goods do not work in the way we claim they do.

For warranty replacements all faulty goods must be returned to the manufacturer for an assessment of the nature of the failure. Parts must be well packaged and sent by courier or other means of recorded delivery at your expense.

Under current Australian law there is no mandatory cooling-off period and no obligation for us to refund for a change of mind, however we do offer this service with the following conditions:

The package is to be returned at your expense, in its original box if possible. It must be sent by courier or other means of recorded delivery. On receipt we will examine the package to determine if all parts have been returned, that the parts are not damaged and in the case of breathing components, that these are unopened and / or unused. We will advise you and refund your credit card or bank account for the value of any goods that can be re-stocked. We will not refund the cost of freight and insurance that was originally charged for the delivery.

There may also be some variance in the amount refunded due to exchange rate fluctuations and bank charges.
